***Ghais Guevara is a current underground hip hop artist who is known for dense revolutionary lyrics and does most of his own production (He released his most recent album in '25 on Fat Possum records). BlackBolshevik was an early breakout underground album, which is remixed here by NC-based DJ BANANA PEEL in a style that is an ode to the late DJ Screw. The remix treatment makes several of these tracks even harder hitting that the original versions.
