***FLESH WOUNDS are a rock’n’roll band from Carrboro, NC with LAURA KING on drums and DAN KINNEY and MONTGOMERY MORRIS on guitars. Laura, Dan and Montgomery began playing together in 2011, as they describe it, “some semi-legit side-action for all three players” away from their other projects. They quickly determined that the music they were making together was “doper by far” than their other bands and Flesh Wounds became a reality. The band released a cassette on All Day Records in December of 2012 which “burned up the charts in a few zip codes,” but this marks their first vinyl release. The songs were recorded in two days with WESLEY WOLFE at his house and at All Day Records in Carrboro, NC. (STREET DATE - 5/13/2014)
